A snake began to chase a firefly that only lived to shine. The firefly stopped and said to the snake:
"Can I ask you three questions?"
The snake said, "Yes."
- Do I belong to your food chain ?
The snake said, "No."
Did I do anything to you?
The snake said, "No."
Then why you wanna devour me?
"The snake replied, ""Cause I can't stand to see you shine."".
Moral of the story...
Often, some people can't stand to see you shine, and that's why they act like snakes, silent and ready to destroy you , That's a bitter truth.
The other bitther and painful truth is some are not being devoured by people from outside some are devouring themselves. Some are eating themselves up.
They are now a skeleton of their former self.
They are stuck in their minds
Overthinking is their cup of tea
Then anxiety is the second name
Their mood changes worries them
They can't get out of their heads
Its frustrating
Its bringing them down
They feel they are not enough
They walk like they are not enough
They had been told they are good for nothing
These words have stuck
Please as the world tries to devour you
Try not to devour yourself
Get out of your mind
Refflect on your soul
Its the seat of emotions
Clean it
Work on it.
